Safeguarding Statement

Kingswood Parks Primary School takes seriously its responsibility to safeguard all children and adults and have rigorous procedures in place to do so.  Our priority is to provide a safe and welcoming environment where children are respected and valued.  We know that children thrive better and are able to reach their full potential when we all work closely together.  Child Protection is a crucial part of school life.  All staff receive regular training on how to keep children safe.  Every member of the school community has a responsibility to keep all children safe.

What to do if you have a concern about a child attending Kingswood Parks Primary School:

During school hours:

* Contact the school and speak to the Child Protection Co-ordinator.  Please contact Mrs Laura Carr on 01482 427870.

Out of school hours and during school holidays:

* If your concern is urgent and there is an immediate risk of harm, then contact the Police on 999.

* If your concern is less urgent, but you are worried about the welfare of the child, then contact Access and Assessment Team for Hull on 01482 448879.
